Ciarán Cotter is the CEO of Starstrike. Ciarán has an extensive background in permissioning and misconfiguration security research, having previously worked at AppOmni Labs in SaaS security research as part of the SSPM industry's leading research team. Ciarán has won multiple accolades in bug bounty hunting and AI security research, taking home four awards in 2025 across Google's AI Live Hacking Events, with over 20 reports this year alone on Google Gemini. Ciarán is also a member of BT6, the world's leading AI security collective, working alongside notable figures in AI Security such as Pliny the Liberator and Joseph Thacker.
